DNS Query Tool Documentation

Function Description:

The DNS Query Tool is a tool used to query DNS records. It can query various record types of a specified domain name on a specified DNS server, including A records, AAAA records, CNAME records, MX records, NS records, PTR records, SOA records, SRV records, and TXT records. The query results will be displayed in a table format on the tool interface.

Usage Scenarios:

1. Network administrators: Network administrators can use the DNS Query Tool to query various record types of a specified domain name on a specified DNS server to better understand the DNS configuration of the domain name.

2. Website developers: Website developers can use the DNS Query Tool to query various record types of a specified domain name on a specified DNS server to better understand the DNS configuration of the domain name, thereby better developing and maintaining the website.

3. Network security engineers: Network security engineers can use the DNS Query Tool to query various record types of a specified domain name on a specified DNS server to better understand the DNS configuration of the domain name, thereby better conducting network security assessments and vulnerability scanning.

Usage:

1. Open the DNS Query Tool interface.

2. Enter the domain name to be queried in the domain name input box.

3. Select the type of DNS server to be queried in the DNS server selection box, including Google DNS, Cloudflare DNS, OpenDNS, and Custom.

4. If Custom is selected, enter the DNS server address to be queried in the Custom DNS Server input box.

5. Select the record type to be queried in the Record Type selection box, including All, A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS, PTR, SOA, SRV, and TXT.

6. Click the Query button and wait for the query results.

7. The query results will be displayed in a table format on the tool interface.

Notes:

1. The entered domain name must be a valid domain name or URL.

2. If Custom DNS Server is selected, a valid DNS server address must be entered.

3. Query results may be delayed or incorrect due to network issues or DNS server issues.

4. The query results are for reference only and should not be considered as the final conclusion.
